A place to track the maintenance, modifications, and history of my daily driver, a 2011 Subaru WRX STi.

My project car and daily driver.
Most Impreza owners treat theirs as a weekend toy. Mine's on the road every day.
Truth is, I don't do the miles to justify anything else. Around 400 miles a month, mostly a 10 minute commute - which is exactly why I only see 20mpg around town. Let the car actually stretch its legs on an open road trip and it'll happily return 30+.
The AWD makes it genuinely useful through a UK winter, and the hatchback is more practical day-to-day than people expect. Road tax is steep either way, whether it sits in a garage all week or gets driven - so I'd rather get the use out of it. Every "repair" I've made so far has been fixing something that existed before I bought it, not wear from driving it daily.
Low miles, no drama, and I get to enjoy the car every single day instead of just on sunny Sundays. Works for me.
